GNS Pakistan is managed by a team of experts specialized in manufacturing, production processes, sourcing and international trade. Mr. Abdul Qayoom Memon is leading the team as Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Mr. Abdul Qayoom is having sound academic credentials and holding Bachelors Degree in Law and Masters Degree in Business Administration from reputable universities of Pakistan.
Mr. Abdul Qayoom has a diversified experience of foreign trade & exports / imports in multiple products i.e. Food Products, Home Textiles, Nuts and Dates. He is a frequent business traveler and visited every important city of the world including New York, Washington, Chicago, Los Angels, San Francisco, Houston, Toronto, London, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Paris, Copenhagen, Berlin, Cologne, Frankfurt, Prague, Vienna, Barcelona, Brussels, Amsterdam, Rome, Riga, Helsinki, Warsaw and others.
He played an instrumental role in re-organizing his inherited family business of DATES and re-positioned it in international markets.
Mr. Abdul Qayoom is also looking after Dates Farms of the family which are located in District Khairpur of Sindh Province, Pakistan. He has established strong ties with major local dates growers, farm owners and international buyers from different regions and countries including USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Germany, Spain and other EU Countries.
He is a member of Karachi Chambers of Commerce & Industry. Besides, he is also having memberships at Sindh Bar Council, Sindh High Court Bar Association and Malir Bar Association.
Mr. Abdul Qayoom has been nominated by Karachi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCI) as a Member of Sub Committees on (1) Exports / Special Economic Zones and (2) Fairs, Exhibitions & Trade Delegations for the Year 2019-20.
Mr. Abdul Qayoom has also a passion to write analytical articles on trade, industry and agriculture produce with particular focus on Food, Beverage & Dried Fruit segment mainly products of Date-palm fruit in local and international newspapers including Daily Dawn Pakistan.
